Using the shopping basket

No commitment
You make no commitment to purchase when you place items in this shopping basket. It is just a system for keeping track of the items you may be interested in buying. Just like in a supermarket, as you go round the store you add items you may want to the basket. At the end of your search you look to see what is in the basket and decide what you actually want to purchase. You can remove or delete items by changing the quantity you want to order (zero if you want to delete an item) and click the 'Recalculate Total' button at the bottom of the page to make the changes. (If you don't recalculate then the changes you have just made will not be recorded).

To add an item
To order items use one of the buttons above to select the section of our website that describes the item you want. For example, to add a new domain names click the 'new domain names' button above, conduct a search to see if a name is available and, when you have found one you like, click the 'add to basket' button you will see displayed. This will directly add the item into this shopping basket. You cannot place items directly into the shopping basket manually.

Note that the shopping basket uses cookies with your internet browser software. If you have turned off cookies then you need to switch them on to make this shopping basket work.

Removing items
Change the quantity of the item to '0' (zero) and press the 'Recalculate Total' button at the bottom of the page. If you don't recalculate then the changes you have just made will not be recorded.

Changing quantities
Change the quantity and click the 'Recalculate Total' button at the bottom of the page. You won't be able to change the number of years a United Kingdom domain name is registered for because the controlling agency only offers them for two years. If you don't recalculate then the changes you have just made will not be recorded.

Clearing the basket
Press the 'Empty whole basket' button at the bottom of the page. Take care because this button deletes the list of domain names you have identified as being available for registration. You may want to print out your current contents before clearing it.

Automatic Discounts
We offer discounts on multiple domain names registrations. There is 5% off orders of 5-9 domain names, 10% off 10-14 names, 15% off 15-19 names and 20% off twenty or more names where all the names are ordered at the same time. Discounts are automatically calculated and displayed in the shopping basket. If you change or delete an item you must click the 'Recalculate Total' button to ensure the right discount rate is operating. If you don't recalculate then the changes you have just made will not be recorded. Special discount arrangements are also offered to customers using our domain name management and audit services.

Payment options
You can pay on-line by credit or debit card in pounds Sterling, Euros, United States, Canadian and Australian dollars (unless using an American Express card where payment must be in pounds Sterling or when purchasing a pre-registered domain name).

You can also pay off-line by fax or post by a credit or debit card, cheque, postal order, bankers draft or a guaranteed money order in Pounds Sterling. We also accept BACS and SWIFT payments. If you are purchasing the right to a pre-registered domain name the payment for this can be by Escrow service (but you must pay the additional cost of this).

Payment by credit or debit card is not available to people purchasing the registration rights of pre-registered names. This is done to protect their existing owners from fraud.

Order process
If you pay on-line the process is

From the shopping basket page click the Checkout online button. (If you have made amendments to the contents of the shopping basket click the 'Recalculate total' button. If you don't do this the changes you have just made will not be recorded.)
Enter the information that Headpoint.com needs to process your order, confirm agreement to our terms and conditions and click the Send to Worldpay button to take you to our on-line credit card authoriser Worldpay via a secure connection
Add credit or debit card information and click the Worldpay Confirm Order button to send the information to Worldpay
Worldpay checks the boxes are correctly completed and returns a form showing the information it has received
You check the details and make any amendments using the Worldpay, Change details button.
Confirm your order by clicking the Worldpay, OK, Submit Order
Worldpay sends you confirmation by email that the financial transaction has been accepted by Worldpay
We will contact you when your order has been processed and we have accepted your purchase. We will contact you if we are ujable to complete your order or if we need further details before completing it. We normally register domain names and set up your services within 24 hours.

If you pay off-line

From the shopping basket page click the Checkout by post or fax button. (If you have made amendments to the contents of the shopping basket click the 'Recalculate total' button. If you don't do this the changes you have just made will not be recorded.)
Fill in the form and run if off on your printer.
Sign the form
Post or fax with payment to Infinite Innovations Ltd (owners of Headpoint.com) to the address on the bottom of the form.
We will contact you when your order has been processed and we have accepted your purchase. We will contact you if we are ujable to complete your order or if we need further details before completing it. We normally register domain names and set up your services within 24 hours.

Non-cancellation details
Please note that once you have ordered the registration of a new domain name or pre-registered domain name, or a search engine submission or any other service then the order cannot be cancelled and your money cannot be refunded.
