Using your domain name in your email address

The way that our service works is that we forward all of your email on to you at your normal Internet Service Provider, or email provider. This could be a free ISP (eg BTClick, FreeNet or Freeserve) or you can use a free email provider such as Hotmail or Yahoo. Or you can always use a ISP which you pay for (eg AOL, Compuserve, Demon, though some of these content providers do not allow you to send email out under your new domain name).

The email addresses you can use are unlimited. You can quote your email address as anything@yourpersonalname.co.uk (substituting your own domain name or course) where "anything" can literally be any single word or combination of words linked by "_" (an underscore) or "." (a full stop).

eg your can use sales@yourpersonalname.co.uk, me@yourpersonalname.co.uk, information@yourpersonalname.co.uk, support@yourpersonalname.co.uk, asdf_jkl@yourpersonalname.co.uk, asdf.jkl@yourpersonalname.co.uk

All of the email sent to any of these address will be forwarded on to you at wherever you have told us to forward your email.

To change where your email is sent on to, you should use the special form to change it. Click here for the form.

Click here to find out how to set up your email program so that it uses your domain name in your outgoing email messages. This will allow people you write to to automatically reply to you at your new domain name.
